RHINOSTOP is the trade name of a combination of Chlorphenamine Maleate, a histamine (H1) antagonist; Pseudoephedrine Hydrochloride, a sympathomimetic; and Paracetamol, an analgesic and antipyretic.
Each RHINOSTOP Tablet contains Chlorphenamine Maleate 2.5mg, Pseudoephedrine Hydrochloride 60mg, and Paracetamol 250mg.
Each 5mL of RHINOSTOP Alcohol-Free Syrup contains Chlorphenamine Maleate 1mg, Pseudoephedrine Hydrochloride 20mg, and Paracetamol 100mg.
CHEMISTRY
Chlorphenamine Maleate is: (±)-3-(4-chlorophenyl)-NN-dimethyl-3-(2-pyridyl)propylamine hydrogen maleate.
Pseudoephedrine Hydrochloride is: (+)-(1S,2S)-2-methylamino-1-phenylpropan-1-ol hydrochloride.
Paracetamol is: 4-hydroxyacetanilide.
