XX is antidiarrheal agent. XX is chemically related to haloperidol, acting diractly on the intestinal wall o inhibit paristalsis. It acts mora rapidly and is longer acting than diphenoxylate and cogeine. XX is also effective to reduce the amount of discharge from ileostomies. XX is prepared by chemical synthesis. XX is administered orally. |
