METROZOLE SUSP

DESCRIPTION

METROZOLE is the trade name of Metronidazole, an antibacterial, antiprotozoal, anthelmintic, and an inflammatory bowel disease suppressant.

Each METROZOLE 250 and 500 Tablet contains Metronidazole 250 and 500mg, respectively.

Each 5mL of METROZOLE Suspension contains Metronidazole 125mg as Metronidazole Benzoate.

Each METROZOLE 500 Vaginal Suppository contains Metronidazole 500mg.

CHEMISTRY

Metronidazole is: 2-(2-methyl-5-nitroimidazol-1-yl)ethanol.

Metronidazole Benzoate is: 2-(2-methyl-5-nitro-1H-imidazol-1-yl)ethyl benzoate.
