ANGIOZIDE is the trade name of the combination of Enalapril Maleate; an antihypertensive and a vasodilator in congestive heart failure, and Hydrochlorothiazide; athiazide diuretic. The combination has antihypertensive properties.

Each ANGIOZIDE tablet contains 20mg Enalapril Maleate and 12.5mg Hydrochlorothiazide.

CHEMISTRY

Enalapril Maleate is: L-Proline, 1-[N-[1-(ethoxycrbonyl)-3-phenylpropyl]-L- alanyl]-, (S)-, (Z)-2- butenedioate (1: 1).

Hydrochlorothiazide is: 6-Chloro-3, 4-dihydro-2H-1, 2, 4-benzothiadiazine-7-sulfonamide 1, 1-dioxiide.
