Students from Petra University Visit JPM sites

Lead by Prof. Nidhal Al Qinnah and Dr. Kenza Mansour, associate Prof at the Pharmacy School/Petra University; a group of 17 Students of Pharmacy visited two sites of the Jordanian Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Company on Tuesday January 22nd, 2019 Namely Ibn Sina Site at Naour, and Al Razi Site in Um Al Amad, this visit was part of a long history of cooperation between the two establishments in many fields (Research and Academia). The students are part of both the BSc. As well as MSc. Programs and are involved in the Discovery and Development activities.
The visit started at Ibn Sina Site where the Headquarter and Central Research Lab are located, they visited the Labs, the newly established “Extraction unit of Delass” where the Active material are extracted from the plants, then they attended a presentation by Dr. Dana Al Dwaik Senior Analyst at Delass Natural Products about Delass company in general, and many other technical, regulatory and Quality related aspects of Herbal Products, in the presence of . Dr.Nadia Abu Nemeh The quality Manager at Delass Natural Products (Delass Natural Products) is a sister company of JPM and was established on 2000
The Group then continued to AL Razi Site where they were welcomed by the HR Department Particularly Ms. Raya Al Nabulsi (Senior Training and Development Specialist) who explored through a presentation a general idea about JPM included, the Sister companies (Delass, Aragen, and Swagh), the different departments and sections of the company and the Mission, Vision and Values of the company.
The Group then went in a tour visit through the different Departments, Labs and Manufacturing Units .
