Indications

Short-term treatment of active benign gastric ulcer, and prevention of gastric ulcer recurrence after the healing of acute ulcers.
Relief of symptoms associated with hyperacidity, including heartburn, acid indigestion and sour stomach, as well as prevention of hyperacidity symptoms brought on by the consumption of food or beverages.
Treatment of pathological gastric hypersecretion associated with Zollinger-Ellison syndrome, systemic mastocytosis, and multiple endocrine adenomas.
Treatment of acute gastroesophageal reflux disease, which may or may not cause erosive or ulcerative esophagitis.
